'Turkish Day Children's Festival' Held in New York

The "Turkish Day Children's Festival" was held for the first time in New York under the coordination of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.

Children from the surrounding states and their families, especially the students of the USA Maarif Foundation School, Atatürk School, Atatürk's Heritage Republic School, participated in the children's festival organized as part of the 39th “Turkish Day Parade” held in New York with the support of the Directorate of Communications.

In the event at the New York Turkevi, the children were presented with the Science Child magazine published by TUBITAK and books.

Within the framework of the event, Turkish stories were read by the teachers to the children, who were also served food and drink.

Hundreds of children had fun with magician shows in the event, which was supported by New York Consul General Reyhan Özgür.
