There has been an important development regarding the Artisans Street Project, which is among the election promises of Sivas Mayor Hilmi Bilgin.
It was learned that the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, who visited our province before the Ramadan Feast, supported the project and gave instructions to allocate the TCDD lodgings and lands located on İstasyon Caddesi, the most popular region of Sivas, to Sivas Municipality.

Making a statement on the subject, Mayor Hilmi Bilgin said that the Artisans Street Project, which they will implement in the TCDD lodging area, will add a different value to the city.
Stating that the project will integrate the Istasyon Street, the High Speed Train Station and the People's Garden, President Bilgin said, "The allocation of the said area will be realized quickly. In order to realize the project, at the first stage, a contribution of 10 million TL will be provided to us from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
This situation will come to life as a project that will add value to the city from a different perspective in the tourism activity that will occur in the city with the high-speed train. We will create a city that does not sleep,” he said.
CONTENT OF THE PROJECT
Within the scope of Sivas Mayor Hilmi Bilgin's Artisans Street Project, some of the TCDD Lodgings in the region will be renovated. It is planned to create spaces where all artistic activities such as painting, music, sculpture, graphics, glass and ceramics will be carried out interactively and practically, art will be kept alive, and places where artists, art and people in the city will meet on the same street, by valuing the artist.
