Non-governmental organizations are also hosted as a campus. This venue still gives direction to amateur filmmaker women, each of whom we are proud of. We are very happy with their wholehearted love of this art, their excitement and these valuable films. It is a source of pride for us that these films will represent İzmir in festivals as well.”

The “Women of Our Neighborhood Makes Cinema Project”, which emerged as the work of the Key Women's Studies Holistic Service Center of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Women's Studies Branch Office, brought together women from different parts of Izmir at the cinema workshop. After 6 months of training, the women, who specialized in categories such as screenwriting, editing and directing, completed the first workshop. Konak-Kadifekale Atelier and Ornekkoy Mahallesi Ateliers produced four films. Films such as "Blue", "In the Rain", "Women of Pagos" and "Shell" were shot at the workshops with the participation of 39 women. The new workshop registrations of the project will be held in Örnekköy Mahallesi, Konak, Bağarası and Aliağa regions.
