A cooperation agreement was signed between the State Airports Authority (DHMI) and Azerbaijan Air Navigation Service Provider Organization Azeraeronavigation ( (AZANS).
The agreement, signed in Baku by DHMI Chairman and General Manager Hüseyin KESKİN and AZANS Director Farhan GULIYEV, aims to increase cooperation between organizations within the scope of air navigation services.
With the agreement, it was decided to continue the good relations between the two organizations in the field of air navigation services in the future, and to take a step towards the establishment of a Regional Safety Organization (RSO) in the field of air traffic management (ATM), of which the two organizations will be founding members.
Within the scope of the agreement; It is planned to cooperate on technical and operational issues, including strategic cooperation for air traffic flow in our region, training of personnel working in the field of air navigation services, sharing experience and knowledge, research and development (R&D) activities for air traffic management systems. .
On the other hand, with the agreement, a step was taken for the use of domestic and national R&D systems, whose intellectual and property rights belong to DHMI and which are effectively used by our organization, in air traffic management by sister country Azerbaijan.
