Cooperation in Vocational Education between MEB, Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Casper

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of National Education, Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Casper, which will increase employment in the field of informatics.

A new step was taken within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Project (MEIP), which was launched in 2019 with the cooperation of the Ministry of National Education and ISO and was implemented to provide employment in the quality needed by the industry. “ISO MEIP MEM Information Technologies Cooperation Project” is being implemented with the cooperation of MEB, ISO and Casper.

The "Vocational Education Centers Information Technologies Cooperation Project", implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Casper, aims to increase information technologies-oriented vocational education and employment. In this direction, those who meet the conditions will have the opportunity to have a profession in a competitive field such as information technologies in a short time like 6 months.

Protocol; It was signed by Sadri Şensoy, Deputy Minister of National Education, Erdal Bahçıvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ISO, and Altan Aras Fakılı, Chairman of Casper Computer.

Qualified employment opportunity for vocational education center students

Students who will receive training on "Computer and Mobile Phone Production", "Computer and Mobile Phone Technical Service" at Casper facilities; equipment, technical service and GSM will be trained in the context of today's important competencies, and during these trainings, they will be able to receive half the minimum wage.

Students who are successful in the proficiency exam and interviews to be held at the end of the training program will have the qualifications of the sought-after personnel and most importantly, they will have direct employment opportunities at Casper.

With the theoretical and applied trainings to be held within the scope of the project concept, it is aimed to open the doors of qualified employment in the field of informatics to vocational education center students and to meet a significant part of the qualified human resources needed in the field of informatics in the industry. The project, which creates a model for similar collaborations, is planned to be expanded in different areas with new collaborations in the coming period.
