Konya Metropolitan Municipality is holding a “Climate-Focused Game Development Hackathon” with the participation of 17 university students over the age of 128 from different cities of Turkey. The aim of the 7-day event, which started in the Beyşehir campground under the name Go Game, is for young people to show their talents in the game industry and socialize.

Hosted by Konya Metropolitan Municipality Youth Council, the hackathon called Go Game is important for young people to show their talents in the game industry, develop educational games and socialize.
In Konya Metropolitan Municipality Beyşehir Camping Area; In the hackathon, where 17 university students over the age of 128 from different cities of Turkey, especially Konya, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, participated, young people are also asked to develop climate-oriented games. During the 7-day hackathon, the participants try to draw attention to the Zero Waste theme made of plastic and cardboard without using printing materials in the campsite.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality provides support to young people who are interested in software, together with the game, design, animation and digitalization departments opened in universities.
