As Turkey's largest sports forest, the “Beykoz Sports Forest”, prepared on an area of 8 million m2, hosted the “Beykoz Municipality 29 May Criterium Race”, where cyclists pedaled with the enthusiasm of conquest.
19 athletes pedaled in 29 different categories in the criterium race, which was organized by Beykoz Municipality as part of the "Youth Festival" (May 569-150) activities in the district, where the enthusiasm of the city's 8th anniversary of conquest was also experienced.
On the occasion of the race, which witnessed the fierce competition of the athletes, the new stages completed in the area that will host international races and organizations in the near future were also showcased.
Beykoz Mayor Murat Aydın congratulated the athletes who ranked at the end of the organization and presented the awards.
Stating that they are proud to bring Turkey's largest sports forest to the city, President Murat Aydın said that the area will be the apple of the eye with its tracks and facilities in line with international standards.
Athletes' New Address
In the area prepared as Turkey's largest sports forest, there will be a 432 mt long athletics track, 467 mt cycling track, 600 mt mountain bike track, bicycle park, football field, 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts.
Beykoz Sports Forest, which will offer the opportunity to do sports in the middle of the city in the middle of the city, will be the new address of athletes and cycling enthusiasts with its modern and well-kept face.
