EGO General Directorate is expanding the Electronic Fare Collection System (ANKARAKART) in Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA), which provides transportation services to the surrounding districts of Ankara. While a total of 9 ETAs have been included in this system in 207 districts to date, as of Monday, May 30, 2022, ANKARAKART will be valid for 35 vehicles on the Polatlı-Ankara line, 2 vehicles on the Polatlı-Haymana line and 1 vehicle on the Polatlı-Beypazarı line.
Continuing its efforts to ensure that transportation in the capital is comfortable and uninterrupted, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality expands the use of ANKARAKART in Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA), after EGO Buses, Rail Systems and Private Public Buses (ÖHO).
EGO General Directorate also passes in Polatlı district upon the high demand from ANKARAKART, which is called Electronic Fare Collection System in public transportation.
ANKARAKARD IS USED IN 9 ÖTA IN 207 DISTRICTS
To date, there are 59 lines on the Çubuk-Ankara line, 37 on the Akyurt-Ankara line, 19 on the Elmadağ-Ankara line, 28 on the Kahramankazan-Ankara line, 12 on the Sirkeli-Ankara line, 16 on the Lalahan-Ankara line, 18 on the Hasanoğlan-Ankara line, 6 on the Oyaca-Ankara line and ANKARAKART started to be used in a total of 12 ÖTAs, 207 of which are on the Kalecik-Ankara line.
With the last study of the EGO General Directorate;
-35 on the Polatlı-Ankara line,
-2 on the Polatlı-Haymana line
-Completed the installation of Electronic Fare Collection System on 1 Private Public Transport Vehicle on the Polatlı-Beypazarı line.
Capital residents will be able to use ANKARAKART in the district of Polatlı as of Monday, May 30, 2022.
