AFAD Emergency mobile application was developed in order to meet the needs of the citizens before, during and after the disaster in a single application. The application, which can be used by all IOS and Android users, can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play application stores.

The AFAD Emergency mobile application, developed by the Ministry of Interior in order to save more lives and reach more citizens in disaster situations, stands out as a domestic and national software. In the AFAD Emergency mobile application, which has a user-friendly design, it is extremely easy to access features such as one-touch emergency call, the nearest assembly area and disaster education videos.

In order to use the application, the phone number must be entered after the AFAD Emergency application is downloaded to the phone. After entering the password sent via text message and verifying the phone number, the application becomes active by entering the TR ID number and granting the location authorization.

One-Touch Emergency Call

As it is known, one of the biggest problems encountered in disasters, especially earthquakes, is the interruption of communication. One-Touch Emergency Call function of AFAD Emergency mobile application eliminates this problem. It is aimed to prevent the congestion that may occur on GSM lines, thanks to the application that allows emergency calls to be made over the internet and to detect the location of the caller with location services.

AFAD Emergency users in disaster areas can reach the 112 Emergency Call Center with a single click, report their situation and submit their requests for help. In addition, our citizens who do not have the opportunity to make voice calls at the time of disaster can also communicate via messages using the ready messages in the application.

Nearest Gathering Area

Collection areas are the areas where our citizens will gather in the event of a possible disaster. In the first hours of the disaster, the meeting areas where our citizens can come together safely away from danger and risks are shown on the map on the main screen of the AFAD Emergency mobile application. Our citizens will be able to find the closest meeting area to them through the application and reach this point by getting directions.
