Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they opened the Taşova Industrial District Bridge, which brings the two sides together, and said that the bridge will relieve the traffic density of vehicles and pedestrians, and the transportation standard will rise.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the opening of Taşova Industrial District Bridge. Stating that as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, they have largely completed Turkey's infrastructure deficiencies during the AK Party governments, Karaismailoğlu said, “In the last 20 years without stopping; As the name of the Justice and Development Party is, we brought justice and development to our country. We increased our country's divided highway length by 4,5 times to 28 kilometers. We also doubled our highway length, reaching 650 kilometers. We overcame the steep rocks and deep valleys of our country with tunnels and viaducts. We have increased the length of our tunnels by 2 times to over 633 kilometers. We made airlines the 'people's way'. Just in the last month, we have put both Tokat and Rize-Artvin Airports into the service of our nation. We are making an intense effort to send our domestic and national communication satellite Türksat 13A into space on the 650th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic. We increased the number of our broadband subscribers from 1 thousand to 6 million. The number of our mobile subscribers increased from 100 million to 20 million. In the last 88 years, we have spent over 28 trillion 86 billion liras for our country's transportation and communication investments.
WE INVESTED MORE THAN 9.3 BILLION TL FOR AMASYA'S TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION
Karaismailoğlu stated that charming Amasya and Taşova also had their share from this investment mobilization throughout the country, and announced that 9 billion 346 million liras have been invested so far for Amasya's transportation and communication. Karaismailoğlu said, “In the last 20 years, we have increased the divided road length of Amasya by more than 9 times and reached 72 kilometers” and gave the following information about the investments made in Amasya;
“In Amasya between 2003 and 2022; We built 1 tunnels of 5 meters in total, including 7 single tube and 666 double tube. The number of bridges we have built in Amasya is 6… And the total length of these 77 bridges is 77 kilometers. As you may remember, we completed the Amasya Ring Road and put it into service. In particular, we made Amasya breathe by taking the transit out of the city. I would like to emphasize that the total project cost of 8,5 different highway projects under construction in Amasya has reached 9 billion 4 million liras. We started the expansion project of Merzifon Airport. Our goal is to complete the construction of the terminal building at Merzifon Airport in June. Today, we provide high speed internet service to over 624 thousand subscribers in Amasya, which was not a fast internet user before. On the Ladik-Taşova Road, we completed 363 kilometers of single hot-paved asphalt road and 24,2 bridges with a length of 220 meters. We aimed to complete the project, which includes 2 bridges with a length of 395 meters, in early 3. We are also continuing the road supply work at the Merzifon-Havza Junction-Suluova-Amasya-Taşova in Taşova.”

Noting that meeting at the openings of good works in Amasya and reviving the communication, transportation, trade and social life of the city with infrastructure investments makes him happy and excited, Karaismailoğlu said that the opening of Taşova Industrial District Bridge is one of them. Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport, said, “Our old bridge, which provides the transportation between the two sides of Yeşilırmak, which adds vitality to these lands, has completed its life. Last year, we made the tender for our new bridge instead of the old one, and we started the work quickly. Our bridge, which is 100 meters long and has 3 spans, was built with bituminous hot asphalt. With the New Industrial District Bridge, the transportation demand in the region was also met. Our bridge provides a safe and comfortable travel opportunity by relieving the traffic density of vehicles and pedestrians. Our project, which will increase the transportation standard between the commercial areas of the district center such as industry and markets and the regions where service areas such as schools, courthouses and hospitals are located, will be one of our services that will increase the quality of life of Taşova and its residents.
