Later, the delegation visited the Turkish Ambassador to Athens Burak Özügergin, Deputy Commercial Counselor Ayşe Özcan Erbilgin and the Second Secretary of the Embassy Cem Algümüş and discussed the relations between İzmir and Athens and the economic, social and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Cooperation opportunities to increase commercial and economic relations with Greece, proposals for the development of trade, bilateral trade relations, mutual investments, commercial issues with the European Union, cooperation on economic and technical topics, especially in the fields of energy, tourism, agriculture, customs and transportation. During the business trip where issues, problems in bilateral relations and solution proposals were discussed, meetings were held with OESYNE – Young Entrepreneurs Association of Greece. The meeting was hosted by OESYNE Chairman of the Board Andreas Stefanidis and members of the Association. At the meeting, where mutual views were exchanged on entrepreneurship and angel investing, cooperation studies were discussed.
Within the scope of the business trip, in which Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry was also visited, Emmanoui Vlachogiannis, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, also met. During the meeting, cooperation activities within the scope of developing mutual trade and relations were discussed. Finally, the delegation visited Enterprise Greece, got information from Investment Promotion Director Elias Eliades as an investment agency and took the first step of inter-institutional cooperation.
