In the written statement made by the Rize Governor's Office, it was stated that 1 morning flight is organized from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Rize-Artvin Airport on Thursdays and Saturdays, and this number will be increased to 2, as morning and evening, after 2 June.

It was emphasized that there are 3 flights a day from Istanbul Airport, in the morning, noon and evening, and this number will increase to 1 with the addition of night flights after 4 June.

In the statement, it was noted that as of June 2, 4 flights will be organized to Rize-Artvin Airport, 2 from Istanbul Airport, 1 from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, and 7 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport.

It was reported that the occupancy rate of the flights from Istanbul Airport to Rize-Artvin Airport on weekdays is 70 percent, and over 90 percent at the weekend.

It was noted that the occupancy rate of the flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport is over 90 percent, and that the occupancy rate of Ankara Esenboğa Airport is 60 percent.

In the statement underlining that HAVAŞ has expanded its transportation service, it was stated that as of June 1, shuttle service will be provided to Rize-Artvin Airport from the Kalkandere, Kendirli, Iyidere district border.
