The first of the tours within the scope of the “Flamingo Road” project carried out by İzDoğa, one of the companies of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, was held. Within the scope of the project, the species in the Gediz Delta can be visited by boat from the sea route and by bus from the land route.
Within the scope of the “Flamingo Road” project carried out by IzDoğa, one of the companies of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the first of the tours organized to draw attention to tens of bird species, primarily flamingos, and the owners of the Izmir Bay, was held on 10 May. Boat Karşıyaka Departed from Flamingo Nature Park in Mavişehir Fishermen's Shelter. Visitors, who had the opportunity to observe dozens of different bird species, especially flamingos, had unforgettable moments by bird watching on the boat with a capacity of 5 people.
Within the scope of the project, the species in the Gediz Delta can be visited by boat from the sea route and by bus from the land route. A guide accompanies the visitors on the boat tours, and binoculars are given to the visitors so that they can observe the birds. Tours with the most colorful boat in the bay take an average of 90 minutes. Guides accompany the visitors on the 13-person bus tours, the first of which was held on May 35.
Tours starting from Sasalı Wildlife Park follow the route of Kaklıç and Degaj and return to Sasalı Wildlife Park.
