TCDD Transportation Inc. Demand for regional trains, which offer an economical, convenient and comfortable journey between short and medium distance cities operated by our company, is increasing.
Regional trains, which bring vitality to the economic, social and cultural life of 37 cities from the west to the east of our country, provide daily service between the cities in close and medium distances to many cities such as Adana, Zonguldak-Karabük, İzmir, Adapazarı, Trakya, Sivas, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir.
In the Adana region, which comes to the fore as an agricultural and industrial center, regional trains come to the fore as an indispensable transportation choice. In the first 2022 months of 4, 1 million 375 thousand passengers were transported by regional trains affiliated to the Adana Regional Directorate, which is responsible for the operation of TCDD Tasimacilik's Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye, Hatay and Gaziantep lines.
Regional trains, which are preferred for business, education, health or vacation trips between close and medium distance cities, also have a wheelchair section for disabled passengers and a disabled toilet.
TCDD Transportation General Directorate carried more than 2022 million passengers in the January-May 4.5 period with all regional trains that offer economical, fast and comfortable transportation compared to other transportation preferences.
