Sports activities in the parks, which Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality brought to life in order to keep citizens fit with morning and evening sports, will start on 6 June.
Sports events in the parks, which the Metropolitan Municipality started with the aim of enabling individuals of all ages from 7 to 77 to do sports, will spread the unifying spirit of sports throughout Eskişehir this year.
Activities where Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department will enable Eskişehir residents to enjoy doing sports in the open air will be held regularly in the morning and evening for 4 days a week.
Citizens participating in the exercise programs will have the opportunity to do sports in a healthy way in the open air at the sports events to be held between 09.00-10.00 in the morning and 17.00-18.00 in the evening.
Sports activities, which will be made by the expert sports coaches of the Metropolitan Municipality, will take place in many parks such as Osmangazi Field, Kentpark, Uluönder Park and Büyük Park. Sports events in the parks, which will start as of June 6, will continue throughout the summer.
Stating that the parks in Eskişehir are for the people of Eskişehir, Metropolitan Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen said, “Our parks are places where our citizens of all ages breathe, do sports, and are happy with their children and loved ones. If you want to do sports outdoors, you can join our morning and evening sports activities. You can do your sports in the park you want, either individually or together with your friends. You can always use our Sazova Science Culture and Art Park, Kentpark and Big Park. As Eskişehir residents, I invite you to do sports freely in our parks where we breathe.”
