Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu, in his written statement, noted that the metro projects that will ease the traffic load in Istanbul are approaching the end step by step. Reminding that the rail system network in Istanbul is 260 kilometers, Karaismailoğlu stated that this figure will increase to 363 kilometers with the completion of the ongoing projects. Underlining that they are working day and night on the 7-kilometer urban rail system in 103 separate lines in Istanbul, Karaismailoğlu said, “One of these projects is HalkalıTunneling works with TBM in the Istanbul New Airport metro project have been completed.
