Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring new green areas to the residents of the Capital within the scope of the "Green Capital" project. ABB President Mansur Yavaş shared on his social media accounts, “Today, we are intensifying our steps for a resilient Ankara against the climate crisis. We will leave a livable future to our children," he said and announced that they will start the construction of the 'Göksu 177nd Stage Recreation Area' consisting of 2 thousand square meters in Etimesgut district. The green area, for which the tender was made, is planned to be completed in 2023.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which started a green area attack in the capital, is increasing the number of green areas day by day.

Taking action to save Ankara from its 'grey city' image, ABB works hard to bring the city a 'green city' image. Finally, while the works for the construction of Lodumlu Mahallesi Park, Eryaman Gökay Caddesi Park and Alacaatlı Mahallesi Lavender Park were accelerated, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared his social media accounts, “Today we are tightening our steps for an Ankara that is resistant to the climate crisis. With our vision of #Green Capital, we are starting the construction of the 'Göksu 177nd Stage Recreation Area' consisting of 2 thousand square meters in our Etimesgut district. We will leave a livable future for our children," he said.

THE NUMBER OF GREEN AREAS INCREASES IN THE BAŞKENT

Continuing to bring new green areas to the city within the scope of the "Capital of Green" project, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will transform the 177 square meter area in Etimesgut district into a greener area.

The construction works will start in a short time in the Göksu 2nd Stage Recreation Area, the tender of which has been completed by the ABB Environmental Protection and Control Department.

LIVING IN THE REGION CAN BREATHE

Cafe, administration building, two kiosks, two water tanks, prayer room, children's playgrounds, bicycle path, jogging track, sports fields (basketball field, tennis court, football field), bicycle track, sports fields business building, multi-purpose hall The total size of the green area in the recreation area, where the lavatory and the security cabin will be located, will consist of 103 thousand square meters.

Göksu 2nd Stage Recreation Area, where residents can breathe, is planned to be completed in 2023.
