ISKUR office was opened in GEBKİM OSB in order to meet the workforce needs of the companies and to prevent the unemployment problem in the region. Turkey's first chemistry specialized OIZ, GEBKİM, continues its activities aimed at increasing employment. As a result of the studies carried out by the Technology Development and Solution Center (GEBTEK), established within GEBKİM, the opening of the İŞKUR branch, which will be located in the GEBKİM OIZ.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of GEBKİM OSB Vefa İbrahim Araci, Dilovası District Governor Dr. Metin Kubilay, Dilovası Mayor Hamza Şayir, İŞKUR Provincial Director Ulvi Yılmaz, İŞKUR Provincial Managers, GEBKİM Board Members and guests attended.
BRIDGE BETWEEN EMPLOYEES AND COMPANIES
A bridge will be built between the employees and companies in the region with the office, which was realized with the cooperation of GEBKİM OSB, which is known for the importance it attaches to the development of the region and to the creation of new employment, with the cooperation of İŞKUR.

Speaking at the opening, GEBKİM OSB Chairman Vefa İbrahim Araç stated that they always give priority to steps that support employment and said, "We are also carrying out this process with the coordination of our technology development center operating within GEBKİM. In this context, we had previously cooperated with Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality employment office, our district governor's office and İŞKUR. A short time ago, we opened our OIZ Vocational Training Center Liaison office here. The role of our exemplary ecosystem, which brings together chemical manufacturers at a single address, is very effective here. Thanks to this facility to be established and such investments that are under construction, we will create additional employment in our region.”
“WE WILL ENSURE IT TO EXPAND IN OTHER OIZs”
Dilovası District Governor Dr. Dilovası stated that the İŞKUR branch established within the body of GEBKİM OIZ is of great importance and that they will ensure that these branches are published in other OIZs. Metin Kubilay, on the other hand, said in his statement, “We know the importance GEBKİM gives to education. We will also contribute to employment with the trainings to be conducted here by opening a Public Education Center in Kocaeli.”

İŞKUR Provincial Director Ulvi Yılmaz emphasized that the office opened will allow companies in the region to take quick steps to provide employment and said, “Unemployment is one of the biggest problems in the world. We have 4 service centers in Kocaeli. We make 25 thousand workplace visits per year. We employ more than 60 thousand people a year.” he said.

Dilovası Mayor Hamza Şayir, who stated that the opened office is a meeting point for job seekers and employers, also said, “We would like to thank our very valuable industrialists for their contributions to the economy and employment of our country. Our county needs this. İŞKUR service points are at the forefront of these services. On the one hand, people are looking for jobs, on the other hand, our industrialists are looking for employees. Really nice service. I wish good luck to our region," he said.
