Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area continues to attract great attention

The Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area, which has been completely renovated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and put into the service of the citizens of the Capital, continues to attract great attention. Citizens who flock to Çubuk-1 Dam with the warming of the weather, visit Atatürk House and Seyir Tepesi and take a walk in the greenery. Explaining on his social media accounts that the dam hosts approximately 50 thousand people in the capital at the weekend, ABB President Mansur Yavaş said, “We have restored the dam, which has been idle since 1994, and it holds water again years later. We are proud and happy,'' he said.

The Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area, which was completely renovated and put into service by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, attracts great attention from the people of the Capital from 7 to 70.

With its renovated environment, playgrounds, Atatürk House, bicycle paths, activity and recreation areas, greenhouse, sports field, magnificent nature and a new look that includes every shade of green, Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area, which is preferred by the residents of the Capital especially on weekends, is overflowing.

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who stated that they were very happy with the interest he shared on his social media accounts at the weekend, said, “This is the first dam of the Republic, the legacy of our Ata; Çubuk-1 Dam Recreation Area. We revived the dam, which has been idle since 1994, years later it holds water again. Today, we hosted approximately 50 thousand Ankara residents. We are proud and happy,'' he said.

APPROXIMATELY 50 THOUSAND VISITORS IN A SINGLE DAY ON THE WEEKEND

Taking advantage of the warming weather, approximately 50 thousand capital city residents flocked to Çubuk-1 Dam, which hosts every shade of green as well as its magnificent nature, with their families on Sunday.

Stating that they prefer walking, doing sports and picnics in the area due to its proximity to the center as well as its historical importance, Başkent residents expressed their thoughts with the following words:
