İzmir Metropolitan Municipality teams completed the renovation works at Atatürk Open Air Theater in Kültürpark. Over the years, 2 seats that had been deformed were removed, and 870 seats were installed in their place.

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerIn line with the vision of making İzmir a city of culture and art, restoration was carried out at the Atatürk Open Air Theater in Kültürpark, following the renovation works at İsmet İnönü Art Center. 2 seats without backs, uncomfortable and deformed over the years due to weather conditions were removed and replaced with 870 seats in accordance with the restoration project.

Folding seats installed

3 of the seats are impact-resistant, non-flammable, comfortable and in compliance with FIBA ​​standards. 22 new folding type seats were installed on the walls in the entrance-exit corridors of the theater. Thus, both the comfort and the number of seats were increased.
Round, high-visibility and non-harmful numbers are placed on the new seats. The numbers on the stairs have also been renewed.

Iron railing made

Wall, floor, electrical and paint repairs were made in the sound room with unusable windows. Zone numerators are made of fiberglass material that is compatible with seat colors, resistant to impacts and sun rays, and the visibility of the numerators has been increased. Iron railings were built on the balcony walls surrounding the open-air theater to ensure the safety of the audience.
