After two sad years due to the pandemic we are experiencing, it is a pleasure to meet our mothers again. We know that the biggest concern of mothers is for their children. Their greatest aim is to raise them in a just country where peace, prosperity, democracy and peace prevail. We, in İzmir, are working so that mothers can raise children whose light in their eyes and excitement never goes out. We bow respectfully before our mothers, all the women who have the feeling of motherhood in their hearts, and all our mothers who have passed away. We commemorate Zübeyde Hanım, the precious mother of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gifted this unique homeland to our nation, with respect and gratitude.”

CHP İzmir Deputy Özcan Purçu said, “Happy Mother's Day. Today, we are in the presence of our father's mother, our father's mother, Zübeyde Hanım. We remember him with gratitude and love. We are grateful to him for gifting us the world's greatest revolutionary and commander,” she said.

Turkish Mothers Association Karşıyaka Branch President Feyza Işıklı said, “The Turkish Mothers Association continues to work as the protector of our republic, following the path drawn by Atatürk.
