Anatolian Highway Bolu Mountain Crossing Istanbul Direction Closed to Traffic

Due to the work to be done on the Anatolian Highway, the Bolu Mountain pass in the direction of Istanbul was closed to transportation. Drivers will be directed to the D100 highway.

Since expansion joint replacement will be made in the viaducts at the Abant-Kaynaşlı intersections of the Anatolian Highway, the direction of Istanbul was closed to vehicle traffic until 20 June.

After the heavy winter conditions, the highway crews will change the expansion joint in the viaducts at the Bolu Mountain crossing of the highway, at the Abant-Kaynaşlı junctions.

Preparations were made by the teams as of the morning hours and after the measures taken, the work on the highway in the direction of Istanbul began until 20 June.

Due to the closure of approximately 23 kilometers of the highway, vehicles that will go to Istanbul will be transferred to the D-100 highway from the Abant junction. These vehicles will be allowed to join the highway again from Kaynaşlı junction.
