Citizens were satisfied with the free transportation provided by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality between April 30 and May 4. Continuing the normal weekday bus services on 35 lines, the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation organized a total of 92 trips with 1350 vehicles on all bus lines. 22 thousand 499 people benefited from the bus services. On the light rail system line, 23 thousand 297 people were transported in 35 trips carried out by 169 trams.
The Department of Transportation, which provided a total of 2 thousand 526 trips on the bus line in three days, especially during the Ramadan Feast, served 72 thousand 19 people in 503 vehicles on the first day, 23 thousand 433 people on the second day and 23 thousand 921 people on the third day. In total, 124 thousand 525 people traveled free of charge. The number of passengers using the light rail system could not be calculated due to the fact that the turnstiles at the tram station are open during the holiday.
