25 Years of Traffic Ordeal Has Ended on Etimesgut Station Street

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media accounts that the boulevard, which was built as an alternative to Etimesgut İstasyon Street, was completed, with the words "We have been blessed to end the ordeal of the people of Ankara for years".

With a cost of 126 million TL; Thanks to the 4-kilometer alternative boulevard consisting of 1 railway crossing bridges and 9 underpass, approximately 1,5 million citizens living in Etimesgut and Sincan will take a deep breath.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which started a transportation move in the capital, is completing new roads one by one, especially the multi-storey and bridged intersection works.

Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media accounts that the construction of an alternative boulevard to Etimesgut İstasyon Caddesi, which is one of the transportation projects that will ease the city traffic and ensure life safety, has been completed:

“We have been fortunate enough to end the ordeal that the people of Ankara have suffered for years. We completed our 'Alternative Boulevard' works and opened it to traffic. We are happy to end the 1,5-year traffic ordeal of 25 million Ankara residents living in Etimesgut and Sincan.”

COMPLETED WITH A COST OF 126 MILLION TL

The project carried out 3/3 by the Department of Science Affairs on Etimesgut İstasyon Caddesi, where an underpass in front of the Air Hospital (Martyr Sait Ertürk Hospital) is built 2304 and 7 arrivals and an underpass in front of the Turkish Red Crescent (24. Street Entrance) is put into service in the direction of the city center. The works were completed step by step.

With the 4-kilometer alternative boulevard project consisting of 1 railway crossing bridges and 9 underpass, the U-turn bridge, especially the High Speed ​​​​Train (YHT) Eryaman Station underpass, the connection bridge on the Turkish Red Crescent Street, the 1682. Street connection bridge and the railway overpass bridge were built. Uninterrupted traffic flow in the direction of Sincan was ensured. It has been reported that the project, which ended the traffic ordeal of years, was completed with a cost of 126 million TL.
