The historical lands that witnessed the Çanakkale War hosted the 107 Çanakkale Bridge Gallipoli Triathlon in the 1915th year of the holy struggle. The two-day race, attended by Turkey's most successful triathletes, was organized by the Turkish Triathlon Federation and with the support of local governments and sponsor companies.

In the organization where standard distance duathlon and standard distance triathlon races were held on the first day, the long distance triathlon race including the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge crossing, which was opened in March, was held on the last day.

While Öztan Velipaşalar won the first place with a finishing time of 02:13:58 in men in the standard distance duathlon age group, Gonca Piric became the winner in the same race with a finishing time of 02:44:17. In the standard-distance triathlon races, which were also held on the first day, in the age group men's category, Metin Akbaba came first with a time of 02:24:50, and in the women's category, Şennur Parlak Öner came first with a finishing time of 02:51:10.

On the second day of the organization, a first in the history of world triathlon took place. The Gallipoli Triathlon, to which the World Triathlon Association showed special interest, together with the Istanbul Bosphorus Triathlon, with its cross-continental crossing, started with the start of the Dardanelles Strait and Garrison Commander Rear Admiral Mustafa Turhan Ecevit from the ship TCG Karabiga.

In the long-distance triathlon race, in which the swimming stage was determined as 2100 meters, the cycling stage 112 kilometers and the running stage 23 kilometers, the age group category was first in men with a finishing time of 05:10:02, while Özge Uzun with a finishing time of 05:53:55, women managed to be the first in the age group.

President Yalçınkaya came third in the category

Turkish Triathlon Federation President Bayram Yalçınkaya, who competed in the Gallipoli Long Distance Triathlon, managed to rank 05th in the general classification and 55rd in its category with a finishing time of 51:10:3, and said the following about the organization after the race: Competing in a region with a very heavy spiritual aspect impressed me as well as all the participants. Being a partner in the struggle here means more than all degrees. I would like to thank everyone and every institution that elevates the meaning of the region by participating in the Gallipoli Triathlon as an athlete and as a club, and giving official and private support. All athletes competing in the Gallipoli Triathlon are champions for us.”

While the awards were given to the winners by Çanakkale Governor İlhami Aktaş, TTF President Bayram Yalçınkaya, Eceabat District Governor Mustafa Çiftçiler and Çanakkale Youth and Sports Provincial Director Ömer Kalkan, Yalçınkaya also presented Governor Aktaş with a plaque of appreciation for their support.
