Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu and TCDD Transportation workers and staff met with the sahur program held at the Etimesgut YHT Main Maintenance Facility on April 14, 2022. Participating in the program, TCDD Transportation General Manager Hasan Pezük and Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay expressed their happiness to come together on such an occasion in the holy month of Ramadan, the month of blessings and sharing.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu in his speech before sahur: “As the Ministry, we are starting to give more weight to railway-based investment programs as of next year. Our 2023 and 2053 plans are ready for our high-speed trains, which we plan to introduce to many provinces of Turkey. In addition to our plans, our lines in operation are operated in the best way with your efforts and dedication. We understand from the feedback we have received that our citizens are very pleased to meet with speed and comfort and look forward to the increase of routes. At the introductory meeting where we explained our targets for 2053, our plans to provide high-speed trains to 52 provinces that I mentioned will be realized together with you.” said.
Reminding that they have put the Karaman-Konya high-speed train line into service, Karaismailoğlu said: “Towards the end of this year, we will also put our Ankara-Sivas line into service. Our work for Karaman-Ulukışla, Aksaray-Ulukışla-Mersin continues rapidly. Our work on the Ankara-İzmir line started again quickly. Hopefully, we aim to put it into service at the end of the next 2 years. There is also intense work to connect Bursa to the Ankara-Istanbul YHT line. Kapıkule, our country's gateway to EuropeÇerkezköy, Çerkezköy-Halkalı Our work between them continues at a rapid pace.”
Karaismailoğlu also addressed the workers: “You are extremely valuable to us and if you exist, we exist, if you do not exist, we do not exist. We have become a very good team with more than 700 thousand personnel affiliated with our Ministry and we know that success is the work of a good team.” He used his expressions.
