WhatsApp continues to add new features. Finally, the company gave the good news of more than one feature. Some of these features were “WhatsApp Communities” plus the “emoticons” feature, also known as “WhatsApp emoji reactions”. Some people said that such features were delayed in coming to WhatsApp. However, WhatsApp has taken action to add another feature that is said to be delayed, apparently. According to WaBetaInfo, with the latest beta version of WhatsApp iOS app, it has added a new option called “My Contacts Except…” that allows certain contacts not to see users' last seen status. With this option, you will be able to hide your "last seen" status on WhatsApp from certain contacts.
The new option for WhatsApp last seen is currently being beta tested on both Android and iOS. The new option is expected to be officially available on WhatsApp soon and reach all users.
