İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZSU General Directorate started the production of a 10-kilometer rainwater and wastewater line in Urla. Sewerage and rain water lines will be separated in Zeytinalanı, Şirinkent, Denizli, Güvendik and Balıklıova neighborhoods to prevent the flood problem in the region.

İZSU General Directorate, which renews the infrastructure network of the city according to the developing situation and needs, separates the rain water and sewerage lines in Urla. It is aimed to prevent floods and floods that may occur after heavy rains, with the work to be done to manufacture a 10-kilometer wastewater and rainwater line.

Over 20 million investments

İZSU, which continues its services uninterruptedly in the districts as well as in the city center, will complete the production of this project, which will continue until the end of 2022 in Urla, with a cost of over 20 million.

Stormwater separation work continues at 11 points throughout the city

İZSU General Directorate has renewed and manufactured 2019 kilometers of rainwater lines throughout the city since 196, within the scope of the resilient city target. Currently, the production of a total of 11 kilometers of rainwater separation lines at 132 points continues. In the last 3 years, more than 378 million liras have been invested in projects that will prevent floods.
