Mortgaged house sales were realized as 2022 in March 30.271, increasing by 39% compared to the same month of the previous year and increasing by 52% compared to the previous month. The decline in housing loan rates has increased the sales of mortgaged houses.

According to the Housing Statistics data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) every month, 2022 houses were sold in Turkey in March 20,6, with an increase of 37,5% compared to the same month of the previous year and an increase of 134.170% compared to the previous month.

Mortgaged house sales were realized as 2022 in March 30.271, increasing by 39% compared to the same month of the previous year and increasing by 52% compared to the previous month. The decline in housing loan rates has increased the sales of mortgaged houses.

In March, 38.337 houses were sold for the first time throughout Turkey. It increased by 15% compared to the same month of the previous year and increased by 33% compared to the previous month. The share of the houses sold for the first time among the total houses sold was 29%. Second-hand house sales were realized as 95.833 units in March, increasing by 23% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 40% compared to the previous month. The share of second-hand houses among the total sold houses was 71%.

In March 2022, 31 houses were sold to foreigners with an increase of 5.567% compared to the same month of the previous year. In March, Istanbul took the first place among the houses sold to foreigners with the sale of 2.245 houses. Antalya was followed by Antalya with 1.434 residences and Ankara with 347 sales, respectively.
