At the meeting, the importance and necessity of the Transportation Engineering discipline was mentioned, considering that the engineering content and geographical-based transportation and logistics projects in air, land, sea and rail system modes in the world and in our country are realized intensively. In addition, information about the job opportunities in the planning, project design, construction, maintenance, repair, control and operation stages in the transportation projects of the profession, the courses given in the department about Transportation Engineering, the laboratory facilities of the department, the projects and activities in the department were given, and then the questions from the guidance teachers were answered. .
Transportation engineering education will be beneficial with enough practical training.. Graduates should do a one-year internship and take the exam in the institution where they will work. Trainers should also do internship in transportation institutions. It is not enough to teach them from books and duplicators.. For the future of the student, they should learn the subjects thoroughly. It is not an issue to get a diploma.
