Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), made inspections on the railway line between Alayunt-Afyonkarahisar-Konya together with the "On-Site Solution Team". Akbaş, who received a briefing from the contractor company within the scope of the rehabilitation of the line and the electrification and signaling construction project, consulted the current status of the works.

Akbaş said, “We are constructing our line with a total length of 367 kilometers at the Alanyut station, Pınarbaşı station and Kayacık Logistics Center, where we continue to work within the scope of electrification works, in accordance with a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. We are making our renewed lines more comfortable and safe both in logistics and passenger transportation with its technological infrastructure and superior equipment.
