In women, Letebrhan Haylay Gebreslasea from Ethiopia took the first place with 2.27.35, while Lilian Chemweno from Kenya came in second with 2.28.18, and Helen Jepkurgat from another country came in third with 2.30.54. Aydınlı Derya Kaya placed eighth among female Turkish athletes with a time of 3.04.29. Bedri Şimşek was the first to finish at 10 in men's 0.33.45 kilometers, while Hamdullah Ablay took the second place and Mehmet Aydıngör took the third place. In women, Tuğçe Karakaya took the first place with 0.37.44, Rahime Tekin came second and Özlem Işık third.

More than 17 runners from 42 different countries participated in the 43-kilometer international race run with the goal of “Waste-Free Marathon” in line with the 500 Global Goals set for a “Sustainable World” by the United Nations.
