The "Martyr Diplomats Exhibition", organized by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications in memory of Turkish diplomats martyred by Armenian terrorist organizations, was opened in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
The exhibition, in which the private stories of Turkish diplomats who were martyred as a result of the attacks of Armenian terrorist organizations such as ASALA and JCAG, are told, was brought to the attention of those concerned in order to show the ugly face of terrorism in Austria after the USA.
The exhibition, which was dedicated to Turkish diplomats who did not abandon their duties and became martyrs for this cause, despite the threats and attacks of Armenian terrorist organizations between 1973 and 1984, attracted attention.
Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, who attended the opening of the exhibition via video conference, made statements regarding the exhibition held for the 5th time in Vienna.
Presidential Communications Vice President Dr. Çağatay Özdemir, Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations (UN) Vienna Office Ahmet Muhtar Gün, Permanent Representative of Turkey to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Ambassador Hatun Demirer as well as many guests attended.
The exhibition details the systematic terrorist attacks
In the exhibition, systematic terrorist attacks and assassinations targeting well-trained and equipped state officials representing Turkey in the world are presented in all details.
In the exhibition, where the terrorist attacks and assassinations carried out by Armenian terrorists are displayed with country, city-based graphics and history, there are also special visuals that include high-resolution photos and stories of the martyred diplomats with artificial intelligence technologies.
The exhibition also presents Turkey's efforts to shed light on the 1915 events and reveal the facts, despite the deliberate misrepresentation of the 1915 events by the Armenian lobby and some countries with political calculations.
The first terrorist attack against Turkish diplomats was carried out in 1973.
The exhibition, which was organized to keep alive the memory of Turkish diplomats who were exposed to the attacks of Armenian terrorist organizations even though they have immunity and should be protected by the countries they are in, was previously opened in various cities of the USA.
The martyrdom of Turkey's Consul General in Los Angeles, Mehmet Baydar, and Consul Bahadır Demir by American national Armenian Gürgen Yanıkyan in Santa Barbara in 1973 was the beginning of the organized terrorist attacks against Turkish diplomats.
On October 26, 1973, the bomb left near the New York Turkish Information Bureau was detected and destroyed in time, and an Armenian group calling themselves the “Yanikian Commandos” took responsibility.
In the attacks carried out by Armenian terrorist organizations such as ASALA and JCAG in the 1970s and later, 31 Turkish citizens, 58 of them diplomats and their family members, were martyred, while a total of 77 lives were lost and many people were injured.
The exhibition was previously opened in various cities of the USA, as well as Istanbul.
