Opening of Malatya Ring Road Section Has Been Made
Malatya Ring Road 1st Section Inaugurated

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening of the 1st section of the Malatya Ring Road via live connection. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they have implemented the Malatya Ring Road project, that the 26-kilometer 1st section has been put into service today, and said, "We will continue to do what is best for our country, for our nation."

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu spoke at the opening ceremony of the 1st section of the Malatya Ring Road. Karaismailoğlu, who noted that they had the rightful pride and happiness of putting the 1st Section of the Malatya Ring Road into service, will give Malatya a breath of fresh air and ease the urban traffic. We brought the 2 Çanakkale Bridge, the longest middle span suspension bridge in the world, both to our nation and to the whole world. We opened the 1915 kilometer Malkara Çanakkale Highway. We put Tokat Airport into the service of our nation. With Antalya Airport, we have earned 101 billion 2 million euros to our Treasury.

WE ARE AWARE THAT ATTACKS ON OUR PROJECTS ARE MADE TO TURKEY'S FUTURE

Pointing out that each project, planned, built and put into service with the mind of the state, is very valuable steps that enable Turkey to achieve its strategic goals, Karaismailoğlu said, “Therefore, we are aware that the attacks on our projects and works are actually against Turkey's bright future and the welfare of our nation. We will continue to do what is best for our country, for our nation," he said.

With its thousands of years of history; Emphasizing that Malatya, located on the historical Silk Road route, where trade and cultural exchanges between three continents is made, has always been an important center in terms of economy and culture, Karaismailoğlu said that Malatya is the transit point of 16 provinces with its location that brings together land, air and railway transportation networks. Expressing that they have implemented the Malatya Ring Road Project, which will reduce the traffic density on the current road passing through the city center of Malatya, Transport Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the 26-kilometer 1st Section has been put into service.

WE CONTINUE THE CONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE REMAINING SECTIONS

Within the scope of Chapter 1, which was opened; Karaismailoğlu stated that he has completed a total of 17,5 kilometers of road section, including the 9 kilometers long Darende - Gölbaşı Split - Sivas junction and the 26 kilometers long Akçadağ Connection Road, and continued his speech as follows:

“We are rapidly continuing the construction work in the remaining sections. Our ring road will take its place in history as a new giant work that we have implemented to improve the quality of life of our Malatya citizens. Malatya is the name of the epic city that made Anatolia the homeland. We will continue to strengthen Malatya's transportation and communication infrastructure and prepare it for the future. Our concern is the politics of service and work.”
