Maltepe Mayor Ali Kılıç met with university students living in the district at Maltepe Municipality Kitap Sevgi Kafe as part of the Night of Power fast-breaking program.
CHP Maltepe District President Ali Cengiz Erol and CHP Maltepe District Youth Branch President Deniz Karagöz accompanied President Ali Kılıç. Çınar District Headman Ayşem Möröy also attended the fast-breaking program. President Ali Kılıç, who shared the same table with the university students, made a speech introducing Maltepe to the students who came to Maltepe from different provinces and districts after the meal. Mayor Kılıç, who shared the good news of Maltepe's giant project “M'expo Fair Center” project, which will be Turkey's largest fairground, with the students, said, “We will solve the youth unemployment problem in Istanbul and Turkey with the M'expo project we started.”
PROMISE TO REACH STUDENTS
Speaking about the ongoing Maltepe Square Pedestrianization and Tunnel Project, Mayor Kılıç also gave the good news of the light rail system to the students of Maltepe. “When our Square project is completed, we will implement the light rail system on Bağdat Street and carry the bus and minibus traffic to the E-5 highway,” he said.
