Baryram's Good News for Citizens with Power Cuts in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality paid the electricity debts of 221 families whose electricity was cut off or received notice that it would be cut off. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared on his social media accounts, “We paid the electricity debt of 221 liras and 141 kurus to our 624 households who received social assistance and whose electricity was cut so that none of our families were left in the dark during the holiday. No house will spend their holiday in the dark, we are here.”

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality made the citizens whose electricity was cut off due to their debts happy before the Ramadan Feast.

Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they paid the bills of those in need, whose electricity was cut off or who received a notice that it would be shut down, through his social media accounts.

“THEY WILL ALSO LIVE THE HOLIDAY”

In his post, Yavaş said that “they will also experience the holiday” and emphasized that they do not want any house to be condemned to darkness in Ankara, and gave the good news that all of the electricity debts of 221 households from families receiving social assistance were paid with the following words:

“We paid the electricity debt of 221 liras and 141 kurus to our 624 households that received social assistance and whose electricity was cut off, so that none of our families would be left in the dark during the holiday. No house will spend their holiday in the dark, we are here.”
