Famous actor Sean Penn, who made a documentary about Ukraine, suggested that billionaires could buy 300 warplanes for the Ukrainian army for 12 million dollars. Ukraine's demand for warplanes, which had been voiced many times, was rejected on the grounds that “it would directly bring the West into war with Russia”.
Hollywood star Sean Penn called on billionaires to buy fighter jets for Ukraine. While the Ukrainian government's demands for fighter jets to Western countries have so far remained unanswered, Penn has put forward the suggestion that a billionaire can buy 12 warplanes with features superior to Russian planes.
Penn stated that a billionaire who will volunteer for this job will buy F-300 and F-15 fighter jets for $16 million, which will provide Ukraine with great power against Russia. On the other hand, the US Congress must approve for billionaires to buy F-15 and F-16 fighter jets and send them to Ukraine.
UKRAINE MAKES A DOCUMENTARY
Penn, who is in Kiev for documentary filming on February 24, when Russia's military operation in Ukraine began, is shooting a documentary about Ukraine and its leader Volodymyr Zelensky for a long time. Penn, who wanted Zelenskiy to give a speech at the Oscar Ceremony last week and announced that he would melt his Oscars if this did not happen, had recently returned to Ukraine to support Ukrainian refugees.
Ukraine had previously called for fighter jets, while the United States rejected the request, stating that it could lead to a direct war between Russia and Western countries.
