The background to this move is the Indian government's decision to restart international flights from and to India from the end of March 2022 in accordance with bilateral agreements.
Emirates will operate the following flights:
- Mumbai – 35 flights per week
- New Delhi – 28 flights per week
- Bangalore – 24 times a week
- Chennai – 21 times a week
- Hyderabad – 21 times per week
- Kochi – 14 times a week
- Kolkata – 11 times a week
- Ahmedabad – 9 times a week
- Thiruvananthapuram – 7 times a week
Emirates also relaunched its daily Dubai-Mumbai service in March 380 with the iconic passenger-favourite Airbus A2022. Emirates flight EK 500/501 is operated by the iconic double-decker aircraft.

Passengers traveling in premium cabins and Skywards members with selected membership statuses will be able to enjoy Emirates' exclusive lounges located in Dubai and selected airports around the world.
