Emirates will increase flight frequency to pre-pandemic levels to destinations in India from 1 April 2022. The airline will operate 170 weekly flights to nine cities in the country. The background to this move is the Indian government's decision to restart international flights from and to India from the end of March 2022 in accordance with bilateral agreements.

Emirates will operate the following flights:

  • Mumbai – 35 flights per week
  • New Delhi – 28 flights per week
  • Bangalore – 24 times a week
  • Chennai – 21 times a week
  • Hyderabad – 21 times per week
  • Kochi – 14 times a week
  • Kolkata – 11 times a week
  • Ahmedabad – 9 times a week
  • Thiruvananthapuram – 7 times a week

Emirates also relaunched its daily Dubai-Mumbai service in March 380 with the iconic passenger-favourite Airbus A2022. Emirates flight EK 500/501 is operated by the iconic double-decker aircraft.

Passengers traveling with Emirates in all travel classes will enjoy a unique flight experience with spacious cabins and signature service quality. Emirates passengers will be able to enjoy in-flight regional cuisine and more than 4500 content channels of the airline's award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice.

Emirates passengers traveling in First and Business Class from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi can enjoy complimentary chauffeur-driven service to and from the airport at selected locations in the airline's network. Passengers traveling in premium cabins and Skywards members with selected membership statuses will be able to enjoy Emirates' exclusive lounges located in Dubai and selected airports around the world.
