Another stop of the Çanakkale Mobile Museum TIR, which travels all over the country with its historical artifacts, was AŞTİ.
On its first day at AŞTİ, the museum displays objects, pictures, photographs, sculptures and videos symbolizing Çanakkale soldiers; Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Mustafa Kemal Çokakoğlu, BUGSAŞ General Manager Metin Alkaya, BUGSAS Chairman of the Board Mustafa Koç, Head of Health Affairs Seyfettin Aslan, Head of Earthquake Risk Management and Urban Improvement Department Mutlu Gürler, Head of Special Projects and Transformation Department Hüseyin Gazi Çankaya, Tamer Eski, General Manager of Halk Bread, visited by bureaucrats and residents of Başkent.
MOBILE MUSEUM OPEN TO VISIT AT AŞTİ UNTIL 2 APRIL
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Mustafa Kemal Çokakoğlu, who toured the truck and received information from the authorities, stated that Çanakkale's place in history is very important and said:
“One of the turning points in Turkish history is the Dardanelles Wars. In order to revive the memory of thousands of our martyrs, AŞTİ was one of the stops of the mobile truck of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism throughout Turkey. I would like to thank all of our friends who contributed to the exhibition of this truck here in order to revive the memory of our martyrs and veterans of Çanakkale and to keep their precious memories fresh. We had the opportunity to offer such a service to our citizens at AŞTİ, albeit for a short time.”
Expressing that they are happy to host the truck that tours the whole country at AŞTİ, BUGSAS General Manager Metin Alkaya said, “We have been trying to bring the Çanakkale Mobile Museum Truck for 1,5 years. Their programs are very busy, but they have been blessed to this day. I would like to thank the relevant staff of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and my own staff. I invite the people of Ankara to relive the epic of Çanakkale in our bus station, the Capital of our Republic.”
The truck, which contains war objects, materials, videos and explanatory information and documents about the events of the Dardanelles War, can be visited until 2:18.00 on Saturday, April XNUMX, at the departure entrance of AŞTİ.
