The tender for the cable car project, which has been talked about for years in Afyonkarahisar but was given to Mayor Mehmet Zeybek, was held. One of the vision projects of Mayor Mehmet Zeybek, one of the companies participated in the tender for the ropeway project.
One-rope, two-way, two-cabin, 2-group, 8-person cabin, fixed terminal cable car facility to be built in Afyonkarahisar Castle, as well as the viewing terrace, wooden walkways, buffet and cable car substation area within the scope of the Afyonkarahisar Castle landscaping project, daily and daily parking. The construction and operation of income generating commercial units was tendered by Closed Bid Procedure, in accordance with Article 2886 of the State Tender Law No. 35.
After the tender held in the Council Hall, Zeybek President answered the questions of the members of the press. Our President Mehmet Zeybek said that the Cable Car Project would add value to Afyonkarahisar.
Reminding that only one company submitted a bid for the tender, our Chairman said, "As the Members of the Committee, we are evaluating the offer."
Providing information about the details of the project, Mayor Mehmet Zeybek said, “There will be 1 football field, 1 basketball court, approximately 20 sales units, 3 viewing and glass terraces, walking paths and a cafeteria in the area where Erdal Akar Park is located. Our ropeway project is a comprehensive project, good luck.”
