Support Arrived That Puts A Laugh On The Farmer's Face

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will distribute 8 million 418 thousand 285 vegetable seedlings (tomato, pepper and eggplant) to support farmers this year in order to encourage agricultural development and production. Domestic producers show great interest in the demand collection applications, which started within the scope of support with 75 percent grant and 25 percent farmer contribution. Demand applications will continue to be received in all 25 districts until April 22, 2022.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to diversify its rural development supports in order to increase agriculture and domestic production in the capital, will distribute vegetable seedlings to farmers.

The Rural Services Department will provide 8 million 418 thousand 285 vegetable seedlings this year in order to encourage production in the capital and support the economies of domestic producers. The Metropolitan Municipality started to receive applications for demand collection from the farmers before the support.

INTENSIVE ATTENTION TO VEGETABLE SEEDLING SUPPORT WITH 75 PERCENT GRANTS AND 25 PERCENT FARMER CONTRIBUTIONS

Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department; Capital city farmers show great interest in the ongoing demand collection applications for vegetable seedling support (tomato, pepper, eggplant), which will be distributed as 75 percent grant and 25 percent with farmer contribution.

Bookkeeping applications, which started on April 7, will continue to be received in all 25 districts until April 22.

BUDGET FRIENDLY SUPPORT THAT MAKES FARMERS SMILE

In the first place, the demand collection process started from Nallıhan, Ayaş, Beypazarı, Güdül, Kahramankazan, Kızılcahamam and Çamlıdere districts, while the farmers who applied thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for the "budget friendly" support with the following words:

• Enes Uysal: “I bought it last year as well. We got a lot of yield from the seedlings. I will get it this year too. I also received diesel and fertilizer support, it helped my budget a lot.”

While informing the farmers with a Farmer's Certificate (ÇKS) about the application calendar, through the Headmen's Offices and the Chambers of Agriculture, the farmers, who were able to reach detailed information by calling the phone number (0312) 507 46 51-55, also expressed their satisfaction with the high quality of the seedlings:

Without this support, this money would have come out of our pockets. In addition, if we go to the companies and negotiate on our own, there would be no such discounts.”
