Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that the elderly and disabled pensions for the month of May will be deposited into the accounts today due to the Ramadan Feast.
Minister Yanık made statements regarding the monthly pensions for the elderly and the disabled in May, which were paid before the Eid al-Fitr.
Noting that they will make elderly pension payments of approximately 833 million TL, Minister Yanık stated that they will deposit 653 million TL of disability pensions into the accounts.
Wishing that the Ramadan Feast will pass in unity, togetherness and peace, Minister Yanık said, "We are with you in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that disabled and elderly citizens can live independently with their full and effective participation in social life."
Stating that they have developed inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Yanık said, “In this direction, we are depositing elderly pensions and disabled pensions into accounts due to Ramadan Feast. We will have made a total payment of 1 billion 486 million TL.”
