CONTINUES SUPPORT TO WORKING WOMEN
The Women's Labor Project, implemented by the Istanbul Volunteers, meets with the people of Istanbul as part of the Goodness Campaign. Working women will be in Yenikapı and Maltepe activity areas within the scope of IMM Ramadan Events during the month of Ramadan. More than 12 working women will bring their products to the consumers on a rotating basis at the stands where there are products and souvenirs in 600 different categories, from handmade soap to felt products, from ceramics to jewelry.
In the Women's Labor Project, which continues on its way with more than 4000 working women today, 2020 Women's Labor Markets have been implemented in various districts of Istanbul since December 16. In addition to the Women's Labor Market activities, various activities were carried out within the scope of the project in order to enable women to reach more sales channels through producer market activities, cooperation with social stakeholders.
In the field of "education", which is another important pillar of the project, free training programs are carried out based on the needs and expectations of productive women. 1500 women participated in the trainings as beneficiaries so far. The trainings, which were carried out with the support of volunteer professionals and trainers, consisted of 7 different contents under 12 main headings.
DOING GOODNESS IS SO EASY
The award-winning solidarity Suspended Invoice, Family Support Package, Mother Baby Support Package and Education Support Package, initiated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, are among the simplest methods to increase goodness. Istanbul Volunteers continue to direct both their volunteers and Istanbulites to these supports.
Istanbul Volunteers, who also emphasize inviting their neighbors at iftar or visiting them to strengthen the neighborhood, will continue to work to increase goodness throughout the month of Ramadan.
