Karaismailoğlu stated that the necessary steps and strategies were put forward to create a competitive logistics sector in freight transportation, with the plan that they aim to offer the best alternatives for passenger transportation by considering all transportation modes with an integrated approach, and said that they focused on mobility, logistics and digitalization.
Karaismailoğlu explained that within the framework of this plan, they will contribute to the economic development of Turkey at a high level and that the country will have a more sustainable, safe, environmentally friendly, accessible, comprehensive, fast and technologically more innovative transportation sector with a new, fast and comfortable infrastructure. Emphasizing that this renewal process is focused on holistic development in the fields of transportation and communication and aims to integrate the world into Turkey, Karaismailoğlu said, “We will ensure integrity in transportation and logistics activities in order to become a pioneer country in transportation and logistics on a global scale and a leader in its region. We will increase fair access to transport services and raise the quality of infrastructure to the highest level. By putting the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line into service, we provided an uninterrupted railway connection from Asia to Europe.
