The retrofit processes of the second A400M aircraft in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) inventory have been completed.

ASFAT continues the "retrophy" operations of the A400M transport aircraft in the inventory of the Turkish Air Forces Command (T.Hv.KK). Within the scope of the contract signed between ASFAT and AIRBUS, the retrofit processes of the first A400M aircraft in the TAF inventory were completed and delivered in July 2021. As ASFAT, we delivered the second A400M aircraft retrofitted at our FASBAT Retrofit Center in Kayseri on time, to our Air Force Command. May it be good for our country and our nation." statements were included.

Within the scope of the A400M project, A400M retrofit activities are carried out in the 2nd Air Maintenance Factory Directorate / Kayseri, a first outside Spain. In the upcoming period, it is planned to carry out the retrofit processes of 7 more A400M transport aircraft at this facility. With this project, Turkey became the 400th country of approved A4M maintenance, repair and retrofit centers in the world. A400M aircraft belonging to the Turkish Air Force did not need to be sent abroad for retrofit operations, and it was possible to bring A400M aircraft from other countries to Kayseri for retrofit and maintenance operations.
