Terrorists who killed 5 soldiers 3 months ago in the Claw Yıldırım region in the north of Iraq were neutralized in the Claw Kilit operation region.
In the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that 2021 terrorists, who were part of the terrorist group that martyred our soldiers in the Claw-Lightning region in December 2, were neutralized in the Claw Lock operation.
The Ministry's statement stated:
“Our heroic comrades-in-arms Infantry Specialist Sergeant Ali Sarı, Infantry Specialist Sergeant Doğanay Çelik and Infantry Specialist Sergeant İdris Aksöz were martyred in the Claw-Lightning region in northern Iraq on 09 December 2021. Terrorist targets identified in the region for our martyrs were hit hard and 6 PKK terrorists were neutralized at the first moment.
It was determined that 2 of the terrorists neutralized in the PENCE-LOCK Operation, which continued successfully in the north of Iraq, were among the terrorist group that martyred our heroic comrades about 5 months ago. It was determined that the two female terrorists neutralized by our Mehmetçik, who did not leave the blood of our martyrs on the ground, were terrorists code-named Berfin Zilan and Bazel Zagros.
