Solution platform Complaintvar has announced its data on online travel ticket sales platforms. According to the data, complaints about ticket sales platforms increased by 265 percent. One of the most common complaints from consumers was the inability to get paid tickets online. The other prominent complaint issues were the inability to cancel or change the ticket, and the non-refundability of the canceled ticket.

Complaintvar, which consumers refer to as a reference source and conduct research on their purchasing decision, explained the most frequently complained about online travel ticket sales platforms. Comparing January, February and March of 2021 with the same period of 2022, it is observed that complaints increased by 265 percent. Not being able to get the paid ticket online was one of the most common complaints. Last year, 30 percent of the complaints regarding this sector were resolved in Complaintvar, while this year the resolution rate increased by 8 percent to 38 percent.
