Gaziantep Regional Tourist Guides Chamber and Gaziantep Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate guides received detailed information from the authorities in Antakya and Arsuz in order to promote the new destination EXPO areas in the best way possible.

On the occasion of Tourism Week, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality President Assoc. Dr. 30 tourist guides, who visited the region upon the invitation of Lütfü Savaş, said that they were very impressed by the EXPO areas and that the tourists would have a great time here.

The guides, who closely examined every detail in the EXPO areas, from the plant museum to the city garden, from the culture and art street to the Garden of Civilizations, expressed that the presence of such an area in Hatay is very valuable in terms of tourism.

Gaziantep Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Mehmet Bülent Öztürk said, “The way to promote well is to know well” and said that their aim of coming to EXPO is for the guides to get to know the place. Öztürk said, “Guides will get to know this place, they will tell the groups that come, they will tell their agents. Our goal is to attract more tourists. Antakya will become a very important tourism center in the coming days. A beautiful place has emerged that you cannot believe exists without seeing it with your own eyes. When you visit this place, half of your mind and heart stays here.” He thanked those who contributed.

Gaziantep Regional Tourist Guides Chamber President Mehmet Severoğlu stated that they liked the work done for EXPO as guides and he wanted to express his thanks to Lütfü Savaş for bringing a very beautiful and serious place to Hatay. Severoğlu said, “It has turned into a magnificent structure where we can visit and tour with our tourist groups, not only during the EXPO process, but also in later processes, where there are many different activities. Thank you to everyone involved.”
