Ericsson and Turkcell signed an important cooperation agreement that will contribute to the digital transformation of many industries within the scope of the “Ericsson Private Network” solution. Ericsson will support Turkcell in identifying and implementing potential usage scenarios that their industries may need through its “Private Grid” solution, which is completely isolated and can be installed in the industry.
This agreement forms the basis of the mutual cooperation between Turkcell and Ericsson to research, identify and develop the usage areas of the Private Grid solution in different sectors such as smart production, oil and refinery, port operations, airports, energy and distribution and mining in Turkey. The usage areas of the solution range from monitoring assets to real-time automation to improve production, optimizing business operations with digital twins and data-driven vision, from field inspections that increase employee safety to developing remotely controlled robots, from augmented reality applications that improve employee capabilities to utilizing various digital technologies.
