Pf. Dr. İsmail Demir shared the following on his social media account: “As our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, we will continue to work until we have the strongest army in our region. Based on this vision, we made the first deliveries of our first multi-grenade launcher, the TG40-BA, which we produced locally and can fire more than one type of ammunition.”
The TG40-BA1, which can be used in accordance with all operational concepts in the tactical field, has the capacity to rapidly fire 6 (six) 40×46 mm low velocity or 40×51 mm medium velocity ammunition. destruction, fog, teardrop, lighting, thermobaric etc. TG40-BA1, which can be used with all ammunition in all weather and terrain conditions, can shoot effective shots up to 40 meters with 51X800 mm medium speed ammunition. It enables accurate and effective aiming with both ammunition groups by means of its adjustable sled optical sight mounted on the central cylinder with a picatiny rail on the drum.
There are MKE production grenade launchers in the TAF inventory. With this delivery, the TG40 became a new grenade launcher in the TAF inventory. There are Chinese made grenade launchers in the safety inventory. MKE can produce 40×46 grenade launcher ammunition.
